Extending from the Wheatbelt to the Nullarbor Plain, WA's Great Western Woodlands (GWW) is the largest intact temperate woodland left on earth.
Each month The Wilderness Society WA holds a Welcome Night to invite like minded people to learn more about our organisation, our campaigns and our training program as part of Movement For Life.
This month we'll be delving into our Great Western Woodlands campaign and asking you be a part of something truly great.
You'll have a chance to hear from some great speakers including Keren Raiter, a PhD candidate in the Ecosystem Restoration and Intervention Ecology group at UWA. You'll hear about the woodlands and why it is so globally unique, plus have the opportunity to contribute directly to helping foster a better appreciation for this special place more broadly in Perth.
RSVP essential, see below.
