Newcastle Community Organising Training

Our Newcastle Campaign Centre is proud to announce our seventh round of training in Community Organising.

This free two day training is excellent for anyone who is interested in making the world a better place.

Information about the course:

 

This course will teach you the fundamentals of community organising including; theory and frameworks, relational organising skills, using personal narrative, cutting an issue and making a plan and core organising skills including running effective house parties.

 

As a result of this training, you will be well equipped to work with the Wilderness Society on our current campaigns and community organising program as well as work with your local community or organisations to take effective action on the issues you care about.

 

This training will run on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of July 2017.

Registration opens at 8.30am each day and the course begins at 9am.

Saturday 9am- 5pm

Sunday 9am-3.30pm

We will provide a vegetarian lunch, you are welcome to make a donation to help cover costs if you can.
