September 2017 Forest Tour (Toolangi)

Join The Wilderness Society campaigners and visit the majestic forests of Central Highlands with a splendid spring tour of the areas to be in included in the Great Forest National Park.

 

Escape the daily grind of the city and discover some of the many special pockets the Central Highlands has to offer. Join us for a stroll along forest walkways, be soothed by the sounds of the forest and stand in awe as we look up at the tallest flowering plant in the world—the Mountain Ash.

This is a chance to connect, rejuvenate and be inspired by the majestic forests that exist just over an hour away from Melbourne’s city centre.

 

Book now! Come and be guided though the ecology of the area, the logging threats faced by the region and the campaign to protect it by creating the Great Forest National Park. Experience these forests in the most intimate way possible and join the campaign to create the Great Forest National Park!
