Sydney Welcome Night March 2017

Wilderness Society supporters are invited to attend our March Sydney Welcome Night.

Maybe you've heard something about the Wilderness Society's new Movement for Life community organising training, or maybe you're just concerned about the general state of environmental management in NSW. Whatever the case, you're invited to come and find out how you might become more involved in Wilderness Society activities.

The Wilderness Society has built teams of committed individuals across Sydney and surrounding areas, who are working together to build their capacity and and are having a real and direct impact on campaigns. You will hear about the work of these teams and be invited to join a team working in your local area.

You will hear about the next steps for each of us as we continue to grow Movement for Life into a vibrant and diverse movement that can demand real environmental change from our decision makers. You will also have an opportunity to take part in our two-day Fundamentals of Community Organising training course.

Whatever involvement you would like to have, or even if you are just curious and want to learn more, the March Welcome Night will give you an opportunity to meet like-minded people and find out about how you can be part of making real environmental change in Australia.

Food and drink will be provided on the night. Please ensure you let us know if you have any dietary requirements, mobility issues or anything else we need to take into consideration.

See you in March!
