Sydney - Restoring Earth screening in Blue Mountains

The new grassroots documentary ‘Restoring Earth’ delves into the interdependent relationship between healthy native vegetation and healthy food, defying the convention that broadscale land clearing increases productivity and bringing into question Australia's number 3 global ranking for land clearing amongst developed nations.

The Wilderness Society invite you to attend this special screening, selectively held in one of the heartlands of our support base, NSW's beautiful Blue Mountains. The film will be accompanied by guest speakers, a chance to sample some fine local produce, and plenty of opportunity for discussion with your fellow community members and local representatives from the environmental and agricultural sectors.

The event will bring to light the current conflict over the NSW Government’s controversial plan to follow Queensland's ecologically disastrous example by transitioning to weakened environmental protection legislation through its proposed Biodiversity Conservation Bill and Local Land Services Amendment Bill.

It is $15 to attend. If you are interested in booking a ticket please contact Kaine Johnson on 0499 092 565 or at kaine.johnson@wilderness.org.au
