Join us in celebrating 50 years of fighting for Australia's Wild Places.
From the Franklin in Tasmania to the Pilliga in NSW, for 50 years we’ve campaigned across the continent to protect the life that supports us all.
Join us on the 16th of November in Rushcutters bay as we take a trip down memory lane, revisiting the campaigns and iconic places we’ve worked tirelessly to protect including celebrating the newly legislated Great Koala National Park.
We’ll screen the award winning documentary Tallaganda, featuring rare footage of the Greater Glider and showcasing the beauty of the native forests on the NSW South Coast, the activists and the efforts to protect them. (Preview)
Followed by a discussion of the future of the Wilderness Society and NSW’s native forests as a whole.
