Unfortunately the new WA Biodiversity and Conservation Bill is making its way through our parliament and our government continues to ignore the science and has failed to consult the community.
We believe that the Bill requires extensive amendments to be able to adequately protect WA's highly valued and unique wildlife. The amendments must be developed in consultation with science experts, the conservation sector and the broader community.
The petition will be received by Labor MLC Sue Ellery and Greens MLC Lyn Mclaren, in support of the proposed amendments to the bill.
Please wear yellow and encourage your friends to join us for 30 minutes from 12.30-1pm on to make our voices heard!
