Calling all QLD residents who believe in the power of community action, and recognise the importance of sound approaches to protecting our local environment!

Maybe you've already done the 2-day Fundamentals of Organising training, or maybe you are just concerned about land clearing and general environmental management in QLD more broadly. Whatever the case, we invite you to come and see how you  can put your passion and new skills into practice to generate real outcomes!

At this special event, you will be given a deep insight into the next phase of the Wilderness Society's land clearing campaign, at a level only shared behind closed doors with trusted supporters. This campaign will be explained to you by campaign managers, who will provide you with an overview of the campaign strategy and activity to date, before inviting you to express an interest in getting involved in the campaign in a way that suits you.

You will also hear from our National Organising Director about how this campaign fits into the bigger picture of creating robust and empowered community networks that are able to stand up for their shared values. You can also take this opportunity to talk with one of your local Community Organisers about any local campaigns you might like to work on.

Whatever involvement you would like to have, or even if you are just curious and want to learn more, there is a way we can work together so that you can make your voice heard, and now more than ever we all need to be heard!

At this unique one-off event, you will have a chance to hear from top level decision makers, learn how to maximise your own impact and get involved in the beginnings of networks that will serve as a resource for in your own community.

Food and drink will be provided on the night!

Don't miss this special event!
