Bunnings is sourcing timber from precious forests in NSW and Lutruwita / Tasmania, while using the dodgy PEFC certification to misrepresent the timber as sustainable. Protecting Australia's forests requires that we make sure companies like Bunnings back their sustainability promises with real action, not hollow words.

To raise public awareness and put pressure on Bunnings, Wilderness Society volunteers will be holding a free community BBQ on Saturday August 15th, 12:00 in Bronte Park.
