🌱 Wilderness Society Local Community Forum🌱
~ Your Local Wilderness Society Hosts 2022 Environment Community Forum ~
🌏 Please Join us Saturday, April 2nd, 2 pm at the Warners Bay Theatre Baramayiba 🌿
We are meeting to support our local community, inspire participation and get involved in meaningful actions for the environment. Please RSVP here so we can cater for a free vegan afternoon tea!!
Our guests and speakers include:
- Local Landcare Network
- Warners Bay Community Garden
- Climate Action Now
- Charlestown Wilderness Society
Our democracy should guarantee us a system that delivers a fair say in the decisions that impact our environment - but does it? Environmentally destructive projects are continually forced onto Australian communities - and it's us that is stuck with the consequences
Please RSVP here to come to our forum on April 2nd, to meet and greet other like-minded community members who also want to see our environment and nature better-taken care of!
🐋 Here at the Newcastle and Charlestown Wilderness Society we are on Awabakal Land, but we also represent regional NSW including Newy, The Hunter & the Central Coast. We live in such a beautiful part of the world & care deeply about respecting nature. Here is the Brisbane Waters National Park on the walking track between Patonga & Pearl Beach. 🐬
We respectfully acknowledge that we are working on Awabakal, Worimi & Darkingjung land. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
