We are excited to offer our Community Organising "Movement for Life" 2 day training course to the community of Bicheno and the East Coast on Saturday, June 16th, 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday, June 17th, 9.00am to 3.00pm at the Bicheno Community Hall, Burgess st, Bicheno.

When was the last time you did something bold and different in the pursuit of personal and community engagement and learning? Do you care about our island home, its natural beauty and our climate?  Do you want protection for the places you love?  Do you yearn to be more effective in this space?  Yes?

Then this is for you!  Our community organising program "Movement for Life" is all about immersing yourself in an incredible learning and development experience so that collectively we can better protect, promote and restore natural and wild places and look after the places we love and want our children and grandchildren to love.

This two day introductory course will give you experience and skills in:

  • The theory and frameworks of community organising
  • Relational organising skills
  • Communications for change (telling your personal narrative - your story)
  • Campaign planning
  • Activating your local community

Catering will be provided on both days.

Please ensure you let us know via email if you have any dietary requirements, mobility needs or anything else you think we need to take into consideration.

Is this training right for me?
