ABOUT
This election join in on a Senate Forum and unpack the policy commitments on climate and nature. Elected Senators will represent Tasmania for the next six years. This is your chance to hear their plan for your climate and nature future.
It's clear, things are broken. National nature laws aren't working - if they exempt logging, but logging is pushing the parrot towards extinction. Climate action isn't effective - if we're expanding fossil fuel exports and clearing woodlands with massive climate implications.
In Tasmania (Cape Grim with the world's cleanest air) just recorded a milestone 400 parts per million carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and saw its iconic swift parrot listed as critically endangered, in imminent threat of extinction.
