The Toowoomba Wilderness Society is organising a proper Toowoomba welcome for Erchana and Tip to Toe when she makes her way into town on route to a world record 150 consecutive marathons over 150 days...and she's doing it all to raise funds for threatened and endangered species.

Please join us to show your support for this epic effort, and to show her that residents of Toowoomba are right there with her in the fight to save our unique wildlife. RSVP at the top right of this page
When: 12:30pm Tuesday 15 November, 2022.
Where: We will meet to welcome Erchana at Cathro Park: 2-6 Hodgson Street, Toowoomba
What to bring: Just yourself, a positive attitude and of course if you feel like it bring along a welcome sign. This is a child friendly event.
There will be a couple of short words from the Toowoomba Wilderness Society about some of the unique wildlife that call Toowoomba home including the now endangered koala, and if we're lucky we'll even hear from Erchana herself.
Make sure you RSVP so we know you're coming and please share this invitation with anyone you think might come along to show their support!
Also keep an eye out for our special billboard on the corner of Ruthven Street and Chalk drive, which will be popping up soon!
A word from Erchana:
'You’re probably wondering why I am undertaking this epic adventure? Well, I’m in love with Australia’s native animals. They’re quirky and unique with fun personalities and I just love sharing all my favourite trails with them. But unfortunately, many of these beautiful creatures are now facing the very real threat of extinction. Did you know that there are now almost 500 Aussie animals on the endangered list, including some of our key iconic mates?! Imagine an Australia without a Koala? It’s about as un-Australian as not liking vegemite! We are working in collaboration with the Wilderness Society to help stop the extinction crisis.'
