Leadership Training: Facilitating Meetings

📋 Want to know more about running efficient & inclusive meetings? 🖋

Here in Newcastle, the Wilderness Society has four local community organising groups who meet monthly - ever wanted to know more about the systems and steps behind planning, running and meeting follow-ups? This workshop is for you! 🗳✏️

Skills and outcomes:

  1. Preparing for meetings: Developing agenda’s; Defining meeting purpose; Establishing meeting requirements
  2. Conduct meetings: Charing and other roles, promoting participation and problem solving; time keeping;
  3. Follow-up: distribution of minutes, tasks, timelines and reports

This is being modelled off actual courses run in diplomas leadership and management & tweaked to be specifically about the Wilderness Society skillset of running meetings here. If you are a current team facilitator or due to go next, want to know more, or can share your own tips and tricks, please come along!
