ABOUT

Join us as we come together around Australia to ensure we take advantage of this once in a generation opportunity to Change the Laws of Nature in Australia.

Details of the calling party are below:

Where: 67 Boundary Street, West end (The Wilderness Society office)

When: 5:45 pm - 7:45 pm (training, dinner and drinks will be provided)

What to bring: Just yourself and a great attitude :)

This Federal election Australia has a choice that could mean the difference between the extinction of iconic species like the koala, or turning the corner towards a brighter future for our environment...and you can help us ensure the people know what is at stake.

Australia is ranked #2 in the world for biodiversity loss, and #1 for mammal extinction. Even the iconic koala was recently added to the threatened species list. But with your help we can ensure it is the first species since the introduction of failing Federal legislation to recover.

We have commitments from some of the major parties to overhaul the failing laws, and to introduce an independent EPA in Australia, which promises to give our environment and communities a voice...not just to pander to the interests of big business

This is a huge opportunity, the likes of which we've never seen before, and the people need to know. This is where you come in.

Together we will call the people of Wynnum and Manly to let them know how significant the opportunity before us is, and we will invite them to support our campaign.

These sessions are a great way for anyone to make a contribution, no matter your age or experience, and to meet new like-minded people friends. Full training is provided and support staff are always on hand.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact Lead Organiser Kaine Johnson on 0499 092 565.
