The Great Australian Bight lives up to its name – endless cliffs towering over a vast unspoiled ocean full of wild and wonderful marine life, including one of the largest populations of the endangered southern right whale. But BP wants to drill for oil and gas in these waters – just like they did in the Gulf of Mexico 6 years ago.

Right now, BP is seeking final Australian Government regulatory approval to enable it to commence oil drilling as early as October this year. The threat is urgent and potentially catastrophic.

If you've never doorknocked before, don't worry - we'll start the day with a workshop at 10am. We will talk through the Great Australian Bight campaign, conduct training on persuasive conversations and effective asks. We’ll cover everything you need to have impactful conversations with the citizens of Kooyong. The fate of this iconic part of Australia and our climate is in our hands.
