We have nearly finished letterboxing the whole electorate of Kew!

Thanks for all your efforts so far.

We're getting together on SUNDAY 12 NOVEMBER to distribute flyers to the remaining households in the area and we'd love you to come too.

  • Where: Meet at Tim's Bookshop, 129 High Street, Kew then head out to the surrounding area in teams.
  • When: 11am - 1pm on Sunday 12 November 2017
  • Bring: Water, sunscreen, a hat and snacks - it's going to be warm!
  • What: Invitations to a screening of the Great Forest Film held on 29 November
  • What next: Join us for lunch and a debrief at a local cafe.

Protect your drinking water.

Melbourne enjoys some of the best natural water in the world. Forested water catchments allow the natural landscape to attract and filter water into rivers and reservoirs which supply your household with fresh water.

Forests naturally provide 98% of Melbourne’s drinking water and the area known as the Central Highlands, only 60 kms north east of Melbourne, forms the headwaters of the Yarra River.

Your volunteer efforts will help activate people in the area, show community support for the Park to elected leaders, and ultimately help create the Great Forest National Park!

RSVP below to join the team on the day!
