Letterboxing for the Great Forest National Park

Protect your drinking water.

Melbourne enjoys some of the best natural water in the world. Forested water catchments allow the natural landscape to attract and filter water into rivers and reservoirs which supply your household with fresh water.

Forests naturally provide 98% of Melbourne’s drinking water and the area known as the Central Highlands, only 60 kms north east of Melbourne, forms the headwaters of the Yarra River.

We are going to letterbox the whole electorate of Kew and invite locals to learn more about the crucial campaign to protect these water catchments through a film screening and discussion about creating the Great Forest National Park within this term of government.

Take part in this letterboxing bonanza! Most people offer an hour or two of their time, and really lends meaning to the old saying "many hands make light work".

Your volunteer efforts will help activate people in the area, show community support for the Park to elected leaders, and ultimately help create the Great Forest National Park!

RSVP below and we will be in touch to arrange getting you the flyers.
