ABOUT

The Metro North Wilderness Society invites you to our information evening on the issues associated with three comercial tourist facilities propossed for Mt Coot-Tha.

Mt Coot-Tha is a spectatacular herritage listed green backdrop for Brisbane. It has been a public park since the early days of Brisbane and many residents have enjoyed the peaceful green forests and waterways within. It has long long been an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The current proposal of a mega zipline and two tree top walks will have significant impact and risk the lives of many threatend species such as the Powerful Owl.

This meeting will be a way for you to find out more about the issue and how you can help. We will have guest speakers including Di Glynn and Edna O'Callaghan from the Metro North Community Group Wilderness Society.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

If you have any questions please call Rob on 0428 905 518
