Mon: 25 Oct: Welcome, and a deep dive into the world of community organising and movement building

Tues: 26 Oct: Relational organising based on connections around issues, interests, and values

Wed: 27 Oct: Building trust through sharing stories and making an effective ask

Mon: 1 Nov: Sharing our personal stories, and Holding meaningful community gatherings that inspire action

Tues: 2 Nov: Choosing an issue and making a plan
- Wed: 3 Nov: Practical activity: Putting our plan into practice. Wrap up and next steps
NB: this program is a carefully structured and connected series of modules. It’s important you ensure you are available for all modules before registering.
Where: The comfort of your own home. We will come together using the free online collaboration platform called Zoom (assistance provided if needed)
What do I need: A computer, phone, or tablet (computer recommended), the internet, the free Zoom application (guidance on how to install and setup is provided prior to the training)

Our leading community organising training is all about immersing yourself in an incredible learning and development experience.
Using tools and techniques honed in community organising programs across the world, we’ll help you reach new audiences and have empowering conversations about the things that matter to you— and the reasons we should all support life.
This course will give you experience and skills in:

- Relational organising
- Leadership and facilitation
- Communications for change (telling your personal narrative)
- Campaign planning
- Activating your local community
- Building grassroots teams and volunteer management
Once you’ve completed our 6 module online Fundamentals of Community Organising training, you’ll be well equipped to work with us on our current campaigns and join the innovative Movement for Life national community organising program. Through this program you will also have the opportunity to work with your local community and existing local networks to take effective action on the local issues you care about.
