ABOUT

Australia's native forests are home to incredible wildlife, store vast amounts of carbon, and provide clean water for communities. Yet many of these forests continue to face ongoing threats from logging and clearing. While legislation and our Governments have a role to play in protecting these special places, some of Australia's largest and most trusted retailers also have a responsibility to get timber from native forests off their shelves and out of their supply chains.

Over recent months, thousands of people have spoken up and called on Coles, Woolworths, and Bunnings to do better when it comes to sourcing products linked to the destruction of native forests.

We are being heard, but we need to step our efforts if we are going to get these corporate giants to make the changes our forests need. We have a plan for how together we can drive this change, and we are excited to share it with you.

Join Wilderness Society staff and supporters from across the continent for an online briefing on the next steps in this work.

During the session we will:

• Learn more about the threats facing Australia's native forests and the opportunities to protect them from corporate greed and greenwashing.
• Take action together to help protect forests and wildlife.
• Explore how we can build a strong and growing network of people who cannot be ignored.
