Plant a tree for National Tree Day!
Located in a highly industrialised area in Brisbane's south, the Granard Wetlands have been a dumping ground for industrial rubbish, and have also been subject to extensive clearing and weed infestation.
In recent years, the Oxley Creek Catchment Association has taken responsibility for cleaning up the creek, restoring wildlife habitat and improving water quality.
On Sunday July 28 (National Tree Day), you're invited to join the Wilderness Society Southern Suburbs team and do your part to restore the area's natural beauty by planting a tree!
Bring your kids, friends, and family along for a fun, educational and meaningful morning out!

WHAT TO BRING
Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen and hat. You should wear enclosed footwear, a long-sleeved shirt and long pants.
