It has been a huge year and it's time to celebrate all that we have achieved together!

We are heading back to Kooragang Island for some tree planting and lunch. (Apparently the trees we planted last December are doing very well so we can pop in and visit them too!)

Friends and family welcome but please make sure they register or you add them as a +1 so we cater for everyone.

Directions: Head towards Hexam on the Pacific Hwy/ Maitland Rd and turn onto Kooragang Island (also known as Ash Island)

turn left of Milliams Rd towards the Riverside Park. See attached image.

Tree planting: 10:00am to 12.00 noon

We will be replanting an area that has previously been used for grazing (and is covered with introduced grasses) and replanting species to restore to a floodplain forest and lowland rainforest. 

Catered Lunch: 12.00 to 1:00pm at the Riverside Park shelters.

What to wear/ bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for tree planting. Covered shoes, long pants and a long shirt for sun protection would be advisable. Also bring a hat, water bottle, suncream and insect repellant.
