What's on your mind? What fires you up? What keeps you awake at night? What stories come to mind when you think about the issues we are focused on (housing, homelessness, climate transition and secure jobs)?
Join local Newcastle people for a Table Talk - a friendly evening to have your say, meet like-minded local people and listen to stories of strength and resilience. Table Talks are how we tune in to visions, hopes and concerns that are felt widely and deeply in the Hunter.
This table talk is hosted by The Hunter Community Alliance. The alliance brings together diverse communities, environmental groups, unions and religious organisations to advance the common good and achieve a fair, just and sustainable future for the region. We do this by providing opportunities for people to have a say in decisions that affect them and their families. We are a non-partisan organisation and take no government funding. Our membership is connected to over 250,000 people in the Hunter region.
This round of table talks is a briefing and chance to connect before our significant and exciting founding assembly at the University of Newcastle Great Hall on Wednesday 10 April.
This table talk event is convened by HCA member groups Climate Action Newcastle, The Wilderness Society Newcastle, Uniting Hamilton and Hunter Renewal.
