In NSW, native forest logging is happening in some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. It continues despite mounting evidence that native forest logging drives wildlife extinctions, increases bushfire risk, destroys First Nations cultural heritage and releases huge amounts of carbon. With states like Victoria and Western Australia already having banned native forest logging and the loss-making industry costing NSW taxpayers tens of millions a year in subsidies, now is the perfect time to protect the special forests of NSW. 

That is exactly what the NSW Forest Campaign intends to do and you can play a vital role in making a real difference! Only by making it clear to government and corporate decision-makers that there is strong popular support for these changes will we be able to bring about this change.
