The Charlestown volunteer team are hosing this submission writing workshop for anyone in the community who is interested.
The evening will begin with a presentation about what submissions are, why we write them and the tips for making them effective.
Then there will be an opportunity for you to write your own submission to the 10 yearly review of the Environmental Protection, Biodiversity and Conservation Act (EPBC).
This is our most important piece of environmental laws and we want to ensure that the law is strengthened rather than weakened in order to stop the current extinction crisis in Australia.
Have your say!
When: Tuesday 25th February 5.30pm till 7.30pm
Where: Club Charlestown in the Ferris Room. 5 Lincoln Street, Charlestown.
The more submissions we can generate, the more the panel will be compelled to make improvements.
