WHAT: The Wilderness Society Community Organising training gives you the building blocks to help create change in your community

Using tools and techniques used in organising programs across the world, we offer a course that upskills you to both contribute to and help build an empowered & inclusive environment movement

This two-day course gives you experience & skills in:

• The theory of community organising
• Building grassroots teams and volunteer management 
• Practice in community organising
• Leadership and facilitation
• Communications for change (telling your personal narrative)
• Campaign planning

Afterwards, you’ll be better equipped to work with us on our campaigns & community organising program, as well as with your local community or other organisations to take effective action on the issues you care about
