Media exposure is integral to raising the profile of local groups and local issues. How we tell our stories for maximum impact in local papers, on radio, tv and on social media can really boost our work and causes.

We will share our collective and experienced media insights, tips and tricks for engaging local media in this Newcastle training webinar. Another workshop for 2020 that will continue to bring us closer together as a collective, at the same time as honing some bonza organising skills!
You can expect to learn:
- What local media outlets are out there and who has influence with which communities
- How to grow relationships with editors, journalists and media outlets
- The art of timing it right
- Writing savvy op-eds, media releases and short letters that cut through the white noise
- How to craft "sticky" sound bites for radio/film
- How to design a pertinent and catchy social media post
