We have all worked extremely hard this year we and have a lot to celebrate!
The Newcastle Wilderness Society's board members, staff and volunteers are all invited to our end of year celebration. This is the fourth year in a row that we have put trees in the ground at Kooragang. It will be great to see how our trees are going from earlier years and to add to our contribution!
Monday 2nd December 2019
Riverside Park, Kooragang Island.
9.30am Planting native trees.
11.30pm Lunch at the community gardens at Kooragang island,
Please wear suitable clothes for tree planting: long sleeved shirt, hat, closed shoes, sunscreen and bring a water bottle.
Lunch will be provided so your RSVPs are important to make sure we have enough for everyone. I'll also need to know in advance if you have any dietary requirements. The lunch will be vegetarian.
I've put a map below to help you with finding the location. The Riverside Park is at the end of 'the lane' just north of where it says 'Kooragang City Farm' on the map.
I hope you can join us!
Charlotte.
