The Peaks to Point Festival is a great way to become involved in local initiaves, reach out to the local community and build relationships with like-minded people. Join us to raise awareness and promote the well being of the landscapes and landowners of the Flinders Karawatha Corridor.
The Wilderness Society stall will be up and running at 10am. A guided bush walk will take place at around 1pm, where we will collect seeds and learn about native flora and fauna. This will then be followed by a workshop which will explain seed germination processes.
Additionally, Graham Perrett, the Local State MP will be speaking at 2pm; this being a great opportunity to build relationships between ourselves and the decisions makers themselves.
Maintaining the health of the Southern Corridor is vital to ensuring the longevity of the ecosystems, for the benefit of its inhabitants and the enjoyment of Queensland communities. We look forward to seeing you there.
Times may vary slightly depending on stall organisers.
