The West Australian Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is inviting West Australians like you to provide a submission on their Greenhouse Gas Emissions Guidelines. This is your chance to tell the EPA - and through them, the WA State Government - why you care about our climate & to tell them what you want done to protect our state from growing its emissions going forward.
This event is supported by the Fremantle Environmental Collective (FEC) and the Wilderness Society. FEC is a grassroots environment community group operating in the Fremantle area to build community networks and take action on a variety of environmental issues.

WA has the second highest per capita greenhouse gas emissions of all Australian states and territories and that's set to increase. We know the predicted effects of the changing climate will be significant in Western Australia, with a drying climate in the south-west, more frequent and severe storms in the north-west and a rising sea level along our entire coastline.
By adding a submission to this process, you can help end the polluting industry’s special treatment and protect Western Australia’s climate. Make a stand for reducing our impact on global warming - for now and for future generations. Join our submission writing workshop to and get the information you need to make your own submission to the EPA.
This event is supported by the Conservation Council of WA, Clean State, and the Environmental Defender's Office of WA.
Don't miss out on this important opportunity to impact on WA's climate future.
