WHERE
Queens Park

Join us for a BBQ for Biodiversity at Queens Park, bringing together people who love nature for some good food, great company and a chance to stand up for our native forests.
We'll be firing up the BBQ from 10am, catching up with other nature lovers and talking about what we can do together to protect forests and wildlife.
We'll also be sending a message directly to Bunnings.
Bunnings sells timber products linked to the logging of native forests that provide habitat for threatened wildlife. We want Bunnings to do better and stop sourcing timber from high conservation value native forests.
On the day, we'll have signs and banners, talk with people in the local community and record a video message to Bunnings that everyone will have the opportunity to be part of. Together, we want to show Bunnings that people in our communities expect our native forests and wildlife to be protected.
What to expect
• A free community BBQ
• Meet other people who care about nature
• Learn more about what's happening to our native forests
• Be part of a community video message to Bunnings
• Have conversations with people in the local community
• Find out how you can get more involved in protecting forests and wildlife
It's also a chance to meet people in your local community who care about nature and be part of a growing network of people working together to protect our forests.
