ABOUT

You're invited to join us at this one off event to ask your Federal candidates what they will do for our environment if they win the seat of Bonner at the upcoming election.

This Federal Election presents a once in generation opportunity for our environment; the opportunity for a complete overhaul of the laws that protect our nature, the frameworks they sit within, and the opportunity for effective action to protect our climate.

The Bayside Wilderness Society and ACF groups have joined together and invited candidates from all of the major parties in the Federal seat of Bonner to come together in Wynnum to answer the community's questions about how each candidate and their parties intend to address these critical issues.

For too long our environment has taken a back seat to the vested interests of big business, and communities right across Australia want change. The good news is our politicians appear to be hearing these calls, with some innovative and progressive policy commitments being announced in recent times.

This is your chance to dig a little deeper into those commitments, to ask the real questions that matter to you, and to get the responses directly from the people who are aiming to be your representative in the next Federal Government of Australia. Don't miss this chance to help inform who that should be.
