Join us for an empowering Community Engagement Workshop designed to help you boost the number of submissions in support of protecting the Channel Country rivers and floodplains from dangerous oil and gas activities. Whether you are a Wilderness Society Group Member or a passionate individual supporter, this workshop is open to all who are eager to learn effective strategies for engaging their communities and gathering more submissions.
During this workshop, we will dive into key elements that will enable you to maximize your impact in collecting submissions. You will learn the art of making effective asks, including through market stalls, to engage and encourage supporters to submit their opinions. From refining your messaging and conducting targeted outreach to running successful community gatherings and leveraging existing networks, you will gain practical skills and insights to expand your reach and increase the number of submissions received. Together, we will work towards ensuring a strong and influential response to protect the Channel Country rivers and floodplains.
