We’re one step closing to protecting the Channel Country rivers and floodplains from dangerous oil and gas!
Together, we pressured the Queensland government to release a report that outlines policy options for protecting the Channel Country rivers and floodplains in the Lake Eyre Basin.
Now, we have a key opportunity to make sure the Palaszczuk government hears loud and clear that communities across Queensland are counting on them to get on with the job of protecting the Channel Country rivers and floodplains once and for all.
We have less than 12 weeks to make our submissions and essentially have a say in calling for strong protections for the Channel Country rivers and floodplains and kicking out dirty oil and gas..
You can help make a difference by joining us to learn how to create a powerful, personalised submission that can persuade the government to take strong action before it is too late.

In this Submission Writing Workshop you will learn how to effectively write personalised submissions to advocate for the protection of the Channel Country rivers and floodplains in the Lake Eyre Basin. This workshop will equip you with the skills and knowledge to make your voice heard and contribute to the campaign for safeguarding this globally significant region as well as to be used to fight for environmental protections across the continent with future submissions.
