Are you fond of Nature, Animals, and your community?
Come join your local Wilderness Society group for a great afternoon of fun, food and dogs. You will also get to hear about our innovative community organising program that is ensuring we can give communities like ours a strong voice for nature.
From our favourite dog parks to our wildlife corridors they are all apart of the ecosystems that support life. Your voice can keep these places protected for the future.
At the Wilderness Society, we have a simple mission: To support the life that supports all of us. For 46 years, we’ve stood at the forefront of Australia’s most significant environmental campaigns — and for good reason.
Australia’s natural wonders define our country. From the glorious beaches we visit every summer to our resplendent outback vistas, nature in Australia is unique and irreplaceable.
Yet the places we love are under threat. Conservation laws designed specifically to protect nature are being unwound and ignored, both at the state and national level.
Come hear about what The Wilderness Society is doing to make a difference in your own community and how you can help. You will also be able to join us for a free BBQ with food suitable to all dietary requirements.
