The Wilderness Society (SA) is a running a free Community Organising leadership training over 4 half day sessions in June and July.

The sessions will run from 2:30pm until 5:30pm on June  8, 15, 29 and July 6. Attendance at each session is required in order to complete the training. 

The program will be built around some core modules including:
- Core community organising skills (Overview, Relational organising best practices, Making an effective Ask, Recruiting and
   retaining volunteers, building effective teams)

- Leadership and Adult learning styles (Leadership and learning styles)

- Making an effective plan (Choosing an issue and making a plan + exercise)

- The power of story (Using personal narrative)
