Rise for Climate - Adelaide is one of hundreds of events happening across the world this weekend to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that puts people and justice before profit.

No more stalling, no more delays: it’s time for a fast, fair and just transition to 100% renewable energy and an immediate end to new fossil fuel projects. Our Wilderness areas, as well ourselves depends on it.

The Adelaide event is being organised by our friends at Fossil Free SA. We will gather at Tarntanyangga (Victoria Square) at 11am for some quicks speeches, including from our own Director, Peter Owen,  and walk down to the Central Market, where we will take part in a fun, creative and inclusive action.

After the action we will be holding a stall along with some of the other organisations involved offering you more opportunities to get involved over at The Joinery
