Join us at South32's upcoming AGM to "celebrate" its 10th birthday and 10 years of destruction in the Northern Jarrah Forest.Â
Over its short history, South32 has cleared thousands of hectares of precious Jarrah forest, with another 4,000ha already approved for future clearing, destroying critical habitat for endangered species such as black cockatoos, numbats, and woylies and pushing them closer to extinction.
In the last decade, South32's mining operations have produced 37 million tonnes of emissions, irreversibly destroyed the Northern Jarrah Forest, and impacted cultural heritage, water, and climate.Â
Our birthday wish is for South32 to end forest mining in the northern Jarrah Forest. Join us to make this wish come true.Â
