Are you concerned about impacts on nature around you and wondering what you can do about it?
A little bit of craft can go a long way!
Join the Wilderness Society’s Wild letter writing workshop and create letters in funky envelopes to connect with your elected representatives. Help protect the ocean from plastic pollution. A 1-hour session starts at 12.30.
We’ll make envelopes from recycled nature pictures and enclose a letter to your member of parliament (MP).
The kids can have fun crafting envelopes while adults will be empowered by learning this simple, yet very effective, skill.
MPs work for you and want to hear your concerns for Nature and our beautiful coastline. They get loads of emails and phone calls but research shows that a colourful letter landing on their desks cannot be ignored!
When: 12.30 - 1.30 pm on Sunday 18 February.
Where: Yalagang Room, Bondi Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach.
Who: all nature lovers, their families and friends.
Why: to protect the ocean from plastic pollution and connect the community to their elected representatives.
You'll also get the opportunity to meet like-minded people and connect with volunteers from the Wilderness Society's local Sydney East group.
RSVP to the right so that we can adequately prepare for your participation. Please bring along your friends and family too!
