ABOUT

This July, we're getting together with you and your community, to write to our elected reps for Plastic Free July!

NSW is the last state to ban single use plastic bags. This year we want to push NSW over the line and get that ban on single-use plastics actually happening!

Wild Letters is an easy, paper-crafting way of getting our MP’s attention and telling them we’ve waited long enough. We’ll remind them of the damaging effects, that there are alternatives and that we are doing our bit - so would they please get on with doing theirs?

When: 2 - 4pm, Saturday 18 July 2020. We'll run 4 30minute sessions (2 - 2:30pm / 2:30 - 3pm / 3 - 3:30pm / 3:30 - 4pm). Please indicate your preferred session time by choosing a 'shift' in the top right hand corner (below the green RSVP button)

Where: The comfort of your own home

Who: You, me, our mates who also want to get to work to protect the places we love.

What to bring: Recycled materials such as old nature magazines, large format nature photo books from the Op Shop, nature calendars or used envelopes. Plain recycled paper or light coloured cardboard for address label to craft eye catching envelopes

A crew of experienced community members will be on hand to help guide you through the process of creating eye catching, hand crafted envelopes and share tips on how to write to your MPs!

Please RSVP to ensure you receive the Zoom details. All are welcome, so please share with your networks and invite friends and family.
