Koalas are an iconic Australian species, and undeniably cute.

But koalas are threatened in New South Wales by weak biodiversity laws, habitat destruction and degradation. In the last 20 years, we've witnessed koala populations decrease by 30%. If we continue down this path, this icon could go extinct in NSW by 2050! 

That's why the Wilderness Society is launching a campaign to protect koalas and ensure they remain a part of the nature around us for years to come, as they so rightly should. 

We're hitting the phones to reach out to supporters across Sydney to invite them to our NSW Koala Campaign launch on October 21st from 1:45 - 4:30pm at the Discovery Centre in Centennial Park.

On the night, we'll provide you with training and dinner.
