One-on-one and small group meetings with a member of parliament (MP) have the potential to be highly effective in raising an MP's awareness and/or gaining an MP's support on an issue.

You're invited to an MP Engagement Workshop, hosted by The Wilderness Society's Sydney organising team. During the workshop we will cover issues including how to request, prepare for and attend meetings with your elected representatives that have maximum impact.

This workshop will focus specifically on engaging with your federal member of parliament around the 2020 review of the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act and the Wilderness Society's New Laws campaign. We will also discuss ways to meet virtually with your MP during this time when MPs may not be taking face-to-face meetings with their constituents.
