SYDNEY EAST WILDERNESS SOCIETY GROUP
We care, protect and conserve 🌿
We are a dedicated group of volunteers from all walks of life who engage with the local community in the Eastern Suburbs to give nature a voice and support the life that supports us.
We appreciate and value our natural environment, including our unique coastal Australian flora and fauna.

We meet on the lands of the Gadigal, Biddigal and also Birrabirragal people of the Eora Nation, to talk about what matters to us and organise activities that promote the conservation of nature and contribute to the Wilderness Society’s campaigns.
Our activities involve picnics, educational walks, stalls, film screenings, trivia events and meetings with our elected representatives. Volunteers bring skills in event management, writing emails, facilitation, story telling, communication with various audiences, video & photography, networking, coordination, and so much more! Volunteering provides many opportunities for development in community mapping & alliance building, conversation structure, community organising, writing & delivering a your personal story to motivate others to act,
