Please join The Wilderness Society, Victorian Forest Alliance, Friends of the Earth and other friends on October 4, for a powerful, creative action to help protect one of Australia’s most iconic and endangered marsupials – the Greater Glider.
The Greater Glider is more than a cute face — it’s a symbol of what’s at stake if governments fail to protect Australia’s native forests. We're calling on all levels of government to take real action and do their job: deliver recovery plans, protect and restore critical habitat, and deliver permanent, legislated protection for Victoria’s forests. It’s time to stop allowing profit-driven destruction of our precious ecosystems.

12:00 - 12:15pm - Arrival - Corner of Spring St and Treasury Place, Treasury Gardens
12:15 - 12:45pm - Collect Corflute to hold up, receive a goodie bag, chat with other activist and enjoy a snack
12:45pm - Ensure you know where to stand and get into position!
13:00pm - Photo time! Flip the cards over and make a picture of a Greater Glider.

We’ll make our voices heard in a bold, visual display in the North West part of Treasury Gardens, Corner of Spring St and Treasury Place, Melbourne CBD — featuring hundreds of people forming the shape of a Greater Glider!
