Saturday July 1st marks the 40th anniversary of the High Court Decision to save the Franklin River from damming. Protecting this precious part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area has shaped environmental politics ever since.

To celebrate this monumental occasion the Wilderness Society invites you to join us for a celebration of this important and influential win.

Come along and join us on July 1st at the Stanley Burbury Theatre located at the University of Tasmania in Sandy Bay.

We will have speakers discussing the campaign and also what is currently happening environmentally within Tasmania.
