2024 is now upon us, and the Wilderness Society Lutruwita / Tasmania continues to campaign for the protection of nature! On 2 February at 6:30pm, you can learn more about what’s next and how you can get involved. You’ll hear from great speakers and prizes will be on offer!

Last year we got more than 350 people into the forests on open days, over 150 people on citizen science projects, and many more along to wilderness events. This year we are aiming to grow these numbers significantly and continue the push for protection of nature in Lutruwita/Tasmania. People power is our pathway to protection - come along and learn how YOU can get involved!
Location: Fern Tree Tavern, Nipaluna / Hobart.
Time: 6:30-8PM.
Speakers include:
- Acting Campaign Manager, Alice Hardinge
- Community Organiser, Hugh Nicklason
- Environment movement legend and Tas Board Member, Geoff Law
Trivia Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, with bundles including:
- Wilderness books
- Rare signed posters from Wilderness legends such as Peter Cundall
- Fine local goods and foods
This event will occur on the stolen Palawa land. TWS Lutruwita/Tas acknowledges the many generations of staunch warriors and activists whom have been fighting for Country since colonisation began. Sovereignty was never ceded.
