Wilderness Society Tasmania invites you to a letter writing party and training to assist us with our environmental protection campaigns. Click on the right to RSVP your attendance on Saturday 15 October from 10:00am at the Launceston Wilderness Society Office, 174 Charles Street.
At this event we will provide some tips and instruction on how to write letters where you are expressing your concern over environmental issues. In this session we will also be able to make actual online letter submissions for our campaign to stop the private development proposals to build high end private tourist accommodation facilities that people get flown into on Lake Malbena within The Walls of Jerusalem National Park.
Last year we won a Tasmanian Supreme Court battle that makes it hard for Wild Drake Ltd. to have their development proposal accepted. This has not stopped them though and we have an opportunity to express our concern over this by writing submission letters and lodging them by October 19th.
We look forward to meeting with you on October 15th.

Sebastian King
