Join the North East Wilderness Society Group for a half day immersive event on all things Threatened Species in Banyule. Our own backyard of Banyule is home to threatened wildlife and plants that together, make up the beautiful green corridor that we call home.
Meet members of local community groups dedicated to caring for nature in Banyule. Hear some of their amazing stories and be inspired to learn simple, effective ways to improve the local environment. Attendees will receive a native threatened plant species to take home and start their native garden journey.
Featuring face painting for the kids and native vegetation experts including Lincoln Kern (managing director of Practical Ecology) on how to cultivate and maintain indigenous plants in one's own garden.
This is an event for anyone who is interested in understanding and connecting with nature in Banyule. Be sure to RSVP and to share the event amongst your local networks.
