This March, the Wilderness Society East group are stepping up and out to take part in the iconic Nature Walk Challenge 🚶🌱
We are passionate advocates for nature and keen to help conservation in any way we can. Usually, this is through meetings with MPs, articles in local media and community engagement. This March, we hope to engage directly with both nature and community and raise awareness and funds for environmental conservation. Every kilometre we walk will be a step closer to protecting Australia’s endangered animals, and the wild places they call home
Join us as we walk in nature on Saturday 23rd of March in Naarm/Melbourne along the Merri Creek to raise funds to help make Australia’s extinction crisis a thing of the past. We'll meet at the Collingwood Childrens Farm at 10am and end our walk at Coburg Lake at 1pm. We'll then get lunch at a local pub on Sydney Road afterwards which you are welcome to join.Â
